Seamless data and workflow integration for clinical flow cytometry
The Work Area Manager, CyFlow WA, is a crucial tool for automating workflows in your flow cytometry lab. It bidirectionally connects to the laboratory information system (LIS), automatically receiving patient data, panel information and routine Haematology results including morphology images from the Sysmex XN-Series and DI-60 into the clinical flow cytometry lab. Regardless of the scenario, CyFlow WA will send panel information to the sample preparation system PS-10, including the white blood cell count. This information will be used to automatically adjust the sample preparation process, ensuring a high level of standardisation. CyFlow WA sends the rotor information of the PS-10 to the XF-1600, acting as a bridge in ensuring full sample traceability across the entire system. After receiving the validated XF-1600 results, it can serve as a validation station before sending the flow cytometry results back to the LIS.
Bidirectional LIS communication for receiving patient information and panel information and for sending validated flow cytometry results and comments
CyFlow WA automatically retrieves patient information and panel information from the Laboratory Information System (LIS). If the panel information is not available, it is possible to define it within the software or even create a reflex panel for the same sample at a later point in time. After validation of the flow cytometry results, the Work Area Manager sends them back to the LIS. It is also possible to send a comment providing additional information.
Integration of Sysmex Haematology and Flow Cytometry results
Upon registering the barcode of a sample in CyFlow WA, the Work Area Manager will automatically integrate the numerical values as well as scatter plots and morphology images from the XN-Series and DI-60 to provide a comprehensive overview of the patient data. Upon validation of the flow cytometry results on the XF-1600, they are transmitted back to CyFlow WA. It is also possible to integrate data analysed via the RUO offline analysis software VenturiOne.
Patient follow-up using the history function of the last 7 measurements
With CyFlow WA, it becomes easy to track changes in the progression of a patient. CyFlow WA provides an overview of the last 7 measurements of the patient, including haematology as well as flow cytometry results.
Auto-adaption of PS-10 sample preparation based on WBC count
To increase standardisation of the sample preparation, CyFlow WA transmits the WBC count to the sample preparation system PS-10, which auto adapts the sample preparation volume.
Customisable and intuitive user interface
