High quality, reliable and easy-to-use DNA probes for fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)
As pioneers in the field, we are proud to introduce the first-to-market IVDR-compliant FISH probes.
Designed by scientists for scientists, our CytoCell® FISH probes exhibit remarkable specificity, enabling the direct in situ detection of genetic changes across various sample types. Our extensive range of IVD CE-marked probes reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and adherence to industry standards.
At Sysmex, we not only deliver established products but also offer customised probes designed to align with the latest scientific breakthroughs and guideline recommendations. Step into the future of genetic testing with Sysmex.
Why is FISH still relevant in diagnostics today?
Genomic alterations – gain, loss, translocations and gene mutations – have been found to be driving factors in the pathogenesis of various constitutional and somatic diseases such as rare syndromes, haematological malignancies and neoplasias.
FISH is often the method of choice for evaluating key biomarkers, such as BCR/ABL1 in chronic myeloid leukemia, HER2 in breast cancer, and ALK rearrangements in lung cancer, and plays a critical role in guiding patient management decisions. [1]
The CytoCell® product portfolio includes DNA FISH kits for the most relevant and actionable gene targets.
What is the CytoCell offer?
We are pleased to offer a range of CytoCell® FISH probes optimised for haematological malignancies as well as the assessment of genetic aberrations in solid tumour samples.
CytoCell®’s constitutional range also includes our FAST FISH assays, designed for the rapid and accurate detection of the most common prenatal chromosomal disorders. Our microdeletion probes are designed for the detection of some of the rarest human genetic syndromes.
CytoCell® myProbes is a custom FISH probe design and manufacture service. By working in partnership with you, we can deliver probes to meet your specific requirements. From a simple modification of an existing catalogue product, to a completely new and innovative project, you can be confident that our expert team will design and deliver a probe you can depend on.
How can CytoCell probes help you overcome daily FISH challenges?
- First-to-market IVDR FISH probes and extensive IVD CE-marked range and custom probes ensure equal detection of both routine and newly discovered aberrations.
- Ready-to-use premixed and directly labelled DNA FISH probes guarantee batch to batch consistency.
- Reliable, tight and bright signals with minimal background minimize your scoring times and retest rates.
- Small pack sizes (five or ten tests) reduce wastage for low-throughput users or rare probes and ensure optimal stock levels.
- For unique and innovative products, our myProbes service will design and manufacture custom FISH probes that meet your exact requirements. Design your CytoCell myProbes.
- Continuous expert consultation by our medical affairs and application team so that you can trust to achieve the best outcome of your FISH, every time
- Comprehensive FISH accessory products are available to make your workflow efficient and smooth (e.g tissue pretreatment kit, microscope filters, DAPI, porcelain wash jars, hybridisation solution and more)
Why should you move to IVDR-certified FISH probes today?
In 1991, CytoCell® became the first provider of FISH probes in the world. Over 30 years later, they are still pioneering the FISH frontiers and are the first to market with In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR) certified FISH Probes!
Switching to CytoCell IVDR-certified FISH probes means you can be confident that your laboratory is using safe, reliable and effective tools for diagnosing patients.
Thirteen CytoCell® FISH probes essential to the patient management of haematological cancers and pre-natal conditions have been IVDR-certified and are available to order. We will continue to pursue additional certifications for our CytoCell® FISH probe portfolio. Stay tuned!
