Webinar trilogy: The value of platelet function testing in clinical practice
Ever wondered how bleeding is stopped in the body? This webinar trilogy on our Caresphere Academy dives into the world of platelet function testing, a crucial tool for understanding blood clotting and potential bleeding disorders. You'll learn when to utilise these tests, interpret the results, and explore practical applications through real-world case studies.
Webinar: Platelet Aggregation Level (PAL)*
This webinar explains a new feature called Platelet Aggregation Level (PAL)* on our CN and CS model haemostasis analysers**. Various studies and publications have shown that PAL may help monitor the effectiveness of anti-platelet treatment. PAL can potentially aid doctors in finding the right dose for each patient, reducing the risk of excessive bleeding or blood clots. This can be especially important before and after surgery. By optimising medication use, PAL can potentially aid in lowering healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes.
*Please note: PAL is currently for research use only.
**Compatible analysers: CN-Series, CS-5100, CS-2500, CS-2400, CS-2100i, CS-2000i
