Sysmex and Inpeco are joining forces for a one-of-a-kind launch later in the year. By combining our long history and extensive knowledge in automated urinalysis over the last 25+ years and market leadership in sediment analysis with Inpeco’s unparalleled authority and global leadership in Total Laboratory Automation, the solution innovation will be a game-changer in the field of urinalysis.
The collaboration will take advantage of our UN-Series urinalysis solutions and Inpeco’s FlexLabTM track, together making the next step towards a fully automated urinalysis workflow solution of the highest level. The solution is available for the core lab and the microbiology lab and provides the customer with maximum flexibility in the selection of the workflow setup according to their needs. The interface to the FlexLabTM track is able to connect up to five UN-Series modules, making it a convenient hands-off choice for any lab.
Similar to the UN-Series, the Inpeco FlexLabTM automation system grows with the changing needs of the customer. Adding modules or new analyser connections is easy by design. Inpeco’s FlexLabTM Total Laboratory Automation system is built for laboratories looking for an open system solution that is future-proof and drives premium quality patient care. FlexLabTM is the only truly open automation system that allows laboratories to connect the analysers of their choice and the specialties they need.
This isn’t the first collaboration between Sysmex and Inpeco. Connections for our haematology and haemostasis analysers have been on the market for quite some time, with our first solution collaboration dating back to 2010. The new interface, however, will be unique to the market as it is something that has yet to be done in the field of urinalysis. The exact date of this upcoming solution launch will be announced in Fall 2021. Stay tuned!
