Sysmex Europe awarded with EcoVadis Silver Medal

Sysmex Europe SE has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in the recent sustainability assessment. With this award, Sysmex Europe belongs to the top 15 percent of companies rated by EcoVadis.


Sysmex Europe’s mission is to foster a sustainable society, guided by the principles of the company’s philosophy, the "Sysmex Way”. Progressing on this path, Sysmex Europe is committed as a company to enhancing its sustainability practices continuously. To assess the progress, Sysmex had disclosed its actions and processes related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance to allow for an objective assessment by EcoVadis, the global leader on business sustainability ratings. In the most recent assessment, completed in April 2024, Sysmex Europe SE secured a silver medal, achieving a score of 71 with its broad commitment to sustainability. With this score, Sysmex Europe ranks among the top 15% assessed companies globally.

About the EcoVadis assessment

Through their platform, EcoVadis evaluates companies based on international standards, providing insights and benchmarks to help organisations improve their sustainability practices and make more informed decisions. The EcoVadis assessment includes four core themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The medals are awarded according to a company's percentile rank, which is calculated for all companies across all industries This is based on a performance comparison of all companies assessed over the last 12 months.
