Teamleader Purchasing (f/m/x)

Your responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 10 operational buyers, providing both disciplinary and technical guidance
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions
  • Team Coordination: Lead team coordination and resource planning efforts to ensure efficient operations and foster ongoing team development
  • Operational Management: Take full responsibility for operational order processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Backorder Management: Handle backorder articles, working with suppliers to clarify issues and improve the situation
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as availability, on-time deliveries, and adherence to delivery schedules
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact between distribution and specialist departments e.g. Regulatory Affairs, Product Management etc.
  • Continuous Improvement: Take accountability by leading project work and process optimization efforts to continuously improve and develop our supply chain organization

Your profile

  • Hold a degree or significant professional experience in the commercial sector (ideally in the medical industry) or a comparable qualification
  • A change management mindset is essential to embrace and drive change within the team and organization
  • Demonstrate proven management skills and expertise in procurement, capable of guiding the team through departmental restructuring
  • Possess strong analytical and planning abilities with a deep understanding of supply planning processes.
  • Exhibit excellent negotiation skills and strong communication abilities
  • Be confident in using SAP (S/4 is a plus) and all common MS Office programs
  • Very good German and English language skills
