Planning and Purchasing Specialist (f/m/x) limited for 24 months

Please note that the position is limited to 24 months.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop Supply Plans: Create and manage detailed supply plans based on demand forecasts, (production schedules), and inventory levels
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
  • Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of supply plans
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Operational Procurement: Manage the end-to-end direct procurement processes, ensuring efficient handling of purchase orders. Actively monitor and follow up on timelines with suppliers and related departments to guarantee timely product availability
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate closely and proactively with suppliers and maintain relationships with them. Schedule regular meetings and visits to build stronger relationship and foster a sense of partnership
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and enhance communication across all involved parties

Your profile

  • Suessfully completed commercial education (e.g., as a foreign trade or forwarding agent) or a Bachelors degree in Business Administration
  • Relevant professional experience in supply chain management or purchasing
  • SAP knowledge is a must,S/4 experience being a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and reporting skills
  • Fluency in both English and German, spoken and written.
  • You are a team player with a strong hands-on mentality
