As leader of the marketing team, you contribute to the implementation of the strategy, development and objectives of the organization.
  • Identify the main market trends and opportunities
  • Transform these trends into actions and products in accordance with the global strategy
  • Live the concept of responsibility for key accounts
  • Organize the content of conferences and fairs of the segment, monitoring the objectives established for each of them.
  • Regularly visit the EMEA headquarters
 
Manage market analysis
  • General marketing plan (includes Market analysis, SWOT analysis, competitor reports, Market trends, main trends, competitor analysis, etc.)
  • Medium and long term market plan (3-5 years)
  • Manage constant analysis of competitors
  • Provide information from the field of operations (sales, services) in order to obtain the most accurate portrait of the state of the market
  • Divide and organize customer groups (segmentation, classification)
 
Manage global marketing activities
  • Function as an expert in the local market / BU under his responsibility
  • Actively participate in contact with BS to participate in the global design of marketing activities
  • Organize contacts with those who have a vote within the global management of the product (BU/BS)
  • Manage the local results of the global marketing proposal (two-way)
  • Manage planning and organization with a view to innovation and cyclical processes (launch / retirement)
 
Coordinate product launch phases
  • Assure all documentations for tender are fulfilled
  • Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs (RA) prior approvals for any local use
  • Manage deadlines and priorities
  • Develop a marketing proposal by taking corrective actions (process monitoring)
 
Manage Sales support
  • Engage Key opinion leaders (KOL)
  • Create events within the local market (Campaign Management - CRM)
  • Lead Management – CRM
 
Act as a technical expert in Sales functions
  • Manage resources in order to achieve the highest degree of technical expertise available (e.g. clinical, application, marketing)
  • Be accountable for the technical and scientific documentation submitted during the tender process
 
Marketing department management
  • Manage resources and employees, establish objectives (e.g. commissions/reviews, salary plans and bonuses, makes estimates for marketing staff, approve expenses for the marketing organization)
  • Implement marketing processes in accordance with the OTC
  • Ensure employees are properly supported, trained and evaluated, and keep the marketing team motivated
  • Manages and ensures the progress and quality of work
  • Lead and be part of work teams
  • Locally manage the product, price, solutions and its situation

Marketing Manager — Diagnostics (f/m/x)

In this role you will:

  • Be the person responsible for managing the portfolio of products of the business unit 
  • Drive activities to Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key customers;
  • Be responsible for the marketing resources of the area, activities and the relative budgets and delivering the expected return of investment (ROI)
  • Manage the life cycle of the products under your responsibility
  • Responsible for optimizing clinical study resources in accordance with the strategy of the products under your responsibility.

Job requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent, MBA desirable
General professional experience:
  • At least 10 years in marketing functions
  • At least 5 years of experience on IVD industry
  • 3-5 years in people management 
  • Direct experience in Hematology and/or Haemostasis are plus
 
Professional experience for the position:
  • Commercial experience
  • Experience in sales processes (OGP; CRM, Sales Funnel)
  • Product knowledge (Expert)
  • Project management
  • Familiar with P&L
  • Decision making taking into account the client
  • Management skills
