IT Support Specialist (f/m/x)

We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable IT Support Specialist (f/m/x) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). In this position you will wear many hats, providing technical support across a variety of areas, including firewalls, IT infrastructure and cloud platforms.

Your responsibilities

  • Windows Administration:
    • Deploy and configure Windows servers from scratch based on organisational requiements
    • Create Windows images for our on-site installations
    • Assist with the administration and maintenance of Azure and AWS cloud services 
  • Network & Security: 
    • Configure and maintain network firewalls to ensure security (e.g Fortigate, SonicWall)
    • Configure and maintain their respective central management solutions
    • Good understanding of IT security best practice 
  • Documentation & Monitoring:
    • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation for internal systems and procedures
    • Conduct regular monitoring of IT infrastructure health and performance

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree/Training as an IT Specialist (f/m/x) for Application Development, System Integration or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience of Windows & Network administration in 2nd level support
  • Experience with FortiManager, FortiGate and SonicWall configuration 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
