IT Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/x)
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate standardized network, systems, and storage solutions across EMEA region
- Support in day-to-day IT operations
- Contributing to the development of our cloud platform strategy on Azure/AWS
- Identify and analyse business requirements. Plan, implement, and integrate new technologies and solutions, and provide recommendations and consultation on overall solution selection, design, and provisioning
- Lead IT infrastructure projects such as Backup and Archiving, Cloud Migration, and much more
- Communicate IT Infrastructure architecture/topics to other IT functions and business unit
- Define and deliver infrastructure services and support (2nd/3rd Levels) with a great team
- Support to design and operate key processes where needed like Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
Your profile

If you bring broad technical knowledge in IT Infrastructure, and user-friendly support processes & ITSM, you would be a perfect match for us. More than your experience we are interested in your passion in driving things forward and help us to grow as a team.
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure operations
- Service-oriented mentality with the ability to lead IT infrastructure projects
- Experiences in at least three of the following IT infrastructure silos:
- Cloud Technologies: AWS / Azure
- Hardware: Servers, Storage, Switches, Routers etc.
- Operating Systems: Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022), Windows Client (10/11), and variety of Linux.
- Server Virtualization: VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Networking: LAN, WLAN, WAN, SAN, Internet, Switching, Routing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
- Monitoring and Automation: hardware and software, proactive health-checks, systems performance, log Analysis, regular maintenance and upgrades, scripting, etc.
- Security: Firewalls, Web Proxy, CDR, NDR, etc.
- Business Continuity: Capacity Planning, Scalability, High Availability (Clustering and Load Balancing), Backup and Restoration, Site Resiliency, and Disaster Recovery.
- IT Infrastructure Operations Management: L1/L2/L3 day-to-day tickets, escalation to principal vendors, IT policies and SOPs, documentation, etc. - ITIL knowledge
- Good listening as well as fluent written and verbal English communication skills
