EMEA Master Data and Governance Specialist (f/m/x)

Your responsibilities

  • Maintenance of BP Master Data and Material Master Data:
    - Responsible for the master data maintenance of Business Partner and Materials:  including Customers, Vendors, Storage Locations, and Intercompany Business Partners (IC BPs) in MDG/S4/ECC systems.
    - Ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data by performing regular updates and cleansing activities.
  • Updating and Creating Process Documentation
  • Preparing Basic SAP Reports and Data Quality Checks
  • Support Sysmex Affiliates in MDM Related Topics:
    - Act as a point of contact for affiliates within the EMEA region, offering guidance and support in managing master data.
    - Address inquiries and provide solutions to MDM-related challenges.
  • Cooperation with Global MDM Team and EMEA MDM Lead
    - Collaborate closely with the Global MDM team to align with global data management strategies and best practices.
    - Share knowledge and insights with the global team to enhance data governance.
    - Assist the EMEA MDM Lead in establishing and maintaining data standards within the EMEA region
    - Work in coordination with the Global MDM team to implement data governance initiatives effectively

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in master data management and governance within an SAP environment
  • Familiarity with SAP MDG and S4/ECC systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of data quality best practices and data cleansing techniques is a plus
