Facts & figures
Sysmex Corporation – in the beginning known as TOA Medical Electronics Co. – was established in 1968 in Kobe, Japan. Sysmex Europe, and thus Sysmex EMEA, was founded in 1980. Throughout these years, the company has been growing steadily and expanding to serve more countries and customers.
By now, we have over 9,000 employees worldwide with about 2,500 employees in the EMEA region. Between the Sysmex Europe headquarters in Norderstedt and the reagent production in Neumünster, there are around 600 colleagues. From here we support 32 affiliates within the EMEA region. More than 40 nationalities are represented in our Sysmex Europe community.
